Lucy Garbett

In sessions with Lucy, the priority will always be gentle, wholly compassionate companionship and support as you move through the experiences of your life. Sessions are gentle, warm, unconditionally empathetic, and sometimes full of laughs - whatever it is you need to feel connected with yourself again.

 As an integrative practitioner, Lucy moves between modalities with flexibility that meets your needs on a session-by-session basis. You may venture into the cognitive realms of CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy and IFS, and proceed deeper through Somatic Therapy and mindfulness practices. If it suits you, you may also use your imagination to find creative ways to express yourself through art and introduce new possibilities to your nervous system. Whatever resonates with you is the direction your sessions will go.

 Beyond being a counsellor, Lucy is a professional freelance musician and music teacher, as well as an avid reader and writer. Lucy is proudly non-binary/gender fluid, bisexual and greysexual, and experiences invisible chronic physical and mental health conditions. It is their heartfelt joy to explore the deep, essential nature of each individual they meet. She firmly believes that everyone is the true expert in themselves, capable of healing any and all hurts accumulated along the way
towards authentic self expression and peace.
